Erroneous labels on some Subaru Crosstrek, Forester and Ascent cars could increase the risk of a crash, NHTSA said.

Subaru is recalling more than 541,000 SUVs, including certain Ascent, Forester and Crosstrek models, over an incorrect weight label that could lead to crashes.

On Monday, we here at Road & Track reported a recall involving a single Toyota Tundra with an incorrect GVWR label. Today, Subaru is making headlines for a similar reason, but on a much larger scale.
